The service
Midnight Lens is provided by Knight Shield Digital Inc. as a browser-local tool for inspecting a data request, deciding what to share, and producing a metadata-only privacy receipt. It is provided as is, without warranty of any kind.
No verification and no advice
Midnight Lens does not verify identity, age, income, eligibility, or any other fact, and it does not constitute legal, compliance, or privacy advice. Category detection is deterministic keyword matching and may miss or over-report categories. You remain responsible for what you choose to share.
Receipts
A receipt records your own decision as metadata. Its SHA-256 fingerprint is an integrity check only. It is not an identity signature, a verifier attestation, a zero-knowledge proof, or a Midnight proof, and it does not bind any recipient.
Midnight
Designed for a future Midnight proof adapter. Current V1 runs locally in your browser.
Acceptable use
Do not use Midnight Lens to misrepresent a decision, to fabricate a record, or in any unlawful way.
